In spite of the bumpy ride, we enjoyed our Valentine's Day formal evening. Two officers joined us and our tablemates, Mike and Kathleen from Kincardin, Ontario, Canada, for dinner -- Annette the future cruise specialist, and Chris an engineer. We were having such a fun conversation that we were the last table left in the dining room, and they were late for the receiving line!
Cupid found his way to many people at the Ball -- they were collecting $1/picture with him to donate to an orphanage in Peru. The orchestra was superb, as usual, and we tried our best to stay upright on the dance floor as the ship rocked happily back and forth ... A fun evening, ending with a greeting from our cabin stewards on our bed -- two beautiful towel swans forming a heart.
